Publisher adds sex to classic novels, is worst idea ever

Just to be clear: it is not ok, has never been ok, and will never be ok to rewrite classic literature, especially to rewrite it to be more like Fifty Shades of Grey. Apparently Clandestine Classics didn't get that memo. The erotic e-book publisher is releasing new versions of old favorites such as Pride & Prejudice, Jane Eyre and Sherlock Holmes with added sex scenes in them.

The company released a statement saying, "The old-fashioned pleasantries and timidity have all been stripped away, quite literally. You didn't really think that these much-loved characters only held hands and pecked cheeks, did you?" Well, no we didn't, but with this logic, every movie should just be turned into a porno. If we are in such a dire need for erotica in intelligent literature, then we'll just pick up a Bukowski novel instead, thanks.
