Pearl Buck goes digital

Nobel Laureate Pearl Buck will join the ranks of deceased authors who have proven you're never too long gone to see your work appear in eBook format. 13 novels by Buck, including the 1931 classic The Good Earth, which made her the first American woman to win the Pulitzer Prize, will be made available to digital readers.

The works will be published by Open Road Integrated Media, the digital publisher who has also published classic backlist titles from Rachel Carson, Horace McCoy, Lawrence Durrell, and others. Open Road has announced that each title by Buck will include a biography and exclusive photographs. All titles will be available August 31.
