Excerpt from Michael Chabon's musically-inclined new novel Telegraph Avenue

In his newest novel, Telegraph Avenue, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Chabon goes deep into the world of vinyl records and the people who chose to keep the past alive. Longtime friends Archy Stallings and Nat Jaffe struggle to keep their used vinyl shop, Brokeland Records, up and running, despite the emergence of a new megastore. Chabon is a pop-culture guru when he wants to be. And right now, he wants to be.

Telegraph Avenue will be available on September 11th.
