The Best of February: Music
Catch up on the last four weeks with this recap of Critical Mob's favorite February releases. Our favorite album of the month was Lambchop's chamber-pop elegy to their late friend, troubled singer-songwriter Vic Chesnutt. But between Sharon Van Etten's impassioned folk-rock, Siinai's epic neo-krautrock, Tim Berne's ferocious avant-jazz and Sophia Knapp's affectionate retooling of mainstream '80s pop-rock, it was a month for stylistic variation.
