Peter Krause
Based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Peter Krause is the co-creator of Critical Mob where he is currently the Books and Film/TV Editor. Raised on a regular diet of Irish theater, Krause developed an early love for the kind of sparse and immediate style that came from writers as diverse as Becket, O'Casey, and Synge, a passion he pursued at Playwrights Horizons where he studied playwriting for many years. Krause cut his teeth in the publishing industry writing ad copy at Dell Publishing, and then moved on to online content creation as the Managing Editor at Muze, where he developed and grew the Books and Film content databases. Krause continued to work on a number of digital initiatives that helped the book industry move forward into the age of online commerce, bridging his love of the offline arts with the promise of a growing, interactive Web. In 2007, he co-founded Tactic with the goal of creating and developing new ways for people to discover and experience the best in culture.
