Paul Parreira
Paul Parreira is a New York City-based writer, editor, music producer, DJ and the co-founder of Critical Mob. Currently the Music and Culture editor at Critical Mob, and co-founder of the New York-based editorial services company Tactic, Paul is mostly a music and art fan with an insatiable taste for music history and emerging artists. Paul's work on various downtown music and digital media projects can be traced back to the mid-90s when he dabbled as a music producer, (Azores, Sweden, General Assembly, Chamecki/Lerner, Hasabi Co., Deitch Projects), gallery owner (407), DJ (Perry & Smith), and event organizer (Dark Green/Casual Green). By the early 2000s, Paul hosted a music series at Joe's Pub called New Music Mondays (where Regina Spektor, Her Space Holiday, Hit, and many others performed), at the same time as heading up the Editorial Department as the Editor-in-Chief of Muze, a leading entertainment content company.
