Mark Rifkin

Mark Rifkin, a Brooklyn-born writer and editor, developed his love of music from his father, whose bar mitzvah present to him was a record a week for a year, and his passion for movies from his mother, who used to keep him up late watching horror flicks. Having studied marketing at Wharton and film at NYU, Mark is now based in Manhattan, where is a Managing Editor at HarperCollins, Children's Books, and the Managing Director of This Week in New York. TWINY covers music, dance, film, art, food, literature, and theater in New York City, where Mark can be found out on the town just about every night of the week.
