Jim Allen

Jim Allen has contributed reviews, interviews, features, and more to a wide range of print and online outlets including MOJO, Village Voice, RollingStone.com, Uncut, VH1.com, iTunes, All Music Guide, CMT.com, The Advocate, Country Weekly, Prefix, Blurt, and others. As a musician, he fronts the country band The Ramblin' Kind and power-pop group Lazy Lions, and has released three solo albums. He hosts a weekly online radio show, For the Sake of the Song, on EastVillageRadio.com. Jim lives in Brooklyn with his wife, daughter, dog, cat, and record collection.
