Eric Schneider

Eric Schneider is a freelance writer and editor based in Saratoga Springs, New York. The son of an English professor and a preschool teacher, Eric developed a love of both modern literature and children's stories in his formative years, while also discovering a passion for music, film, and art. After graduating from the New School's MFA in Creative Writing program, he worked for a decade in various editorial and writing capacities at Muze, where he delved further into his musical and cinematic inclinations. In 2005, Eric began working freelance, and has contributed to numerous publications, including the site Lost at Sea and BOMB Magazine. He has also taught English at Skidmore College, and occasionally finds time to work on short stories that draw heavily on cinematic and literary influences. When not writing, editing, or teaching, he enjoys gardening, hiking, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
